Rustamji Institute of Technology (RJIT)

The Rustamji Institute of Technology (RJIT) has been set up with the objective of giving an opportunity to the children of serving BSF personnel as well as for those who have laid down their lives in service to the nation, for acquiring quality based higher technical qualification.  It was established in 1999 and is India’s only engineering institute run by BSF Management. It  is located in the most disciplined environment of BSF Academy which motivates the students for smart dress up, regular routine, physical fitness and obedience.

The Border Security Force education fund sponsored the development of the Institute. The Institute is named after the founding father of Border Security Force Padma Vibhushan Late K.F. Rustamji. His high ideas and visionary zeal would be source of inspiration for the students to achieve and secure the highest goals in their career.

The Institute campus is self contained with all the basic facilities for all round development of students’ personality. In addition to this, the Institute has well-equipped laboratories, a rich library with internet facility, Audio-Visual facility and place for organizing and conducting various other activities.The Academy provides another added advantage of well developed infrastructure support of its various technical units and facilities like Central School of Motor Transport (CSMT) which is a centre of excellence and has all the expertise in state of the art technology in the field of Automobile Engineering. Tear Smoke Unit (TSU) and Central Workshop and Stores (CENWOSTO) also provide training support to the RJIT students.

BTech Courses: The admission to First Year (B.S.F./CAPFs Wards candidates) is done on the basis of marks obtained in Joint Entrance Examination (Main).

MCA Courses: The Counseling will be conducted under the guidance and supervision of RGPV Bhopal, AICTE New Delhi and Director of Technical Education (M.P.), Bhopal at RJIT, BSF Tekanpur only.

M. Tech Courses: Admission will be done through MP DTE Counselling portal which is dte.mponline.gov.in. Priority will be given to students having valid Gate score card, remaining vacant seats will be filled though non-Gate qualified students.
